Unfortunately, Dr Mahamuud Bawumia’s Greatest Enemies Are His Muslim Brothers From The North And Zongos.
He has made enemies from his own brothers because of how he criticises the former President John Dramani Mahama .
Beside telling him that he ,the former President is incompetent , l do not know if he has used any unprintable words to describe his brother from the north. Telling someone that he does not know how to rule is not insulting but it is passing judgement on one’s performances . Yes Dr Bawomia’s opinion may offend supporters of the former President but what he says about the former President do not constitute insults in politics .
Those who hate Dr Bawumia have labelled him as the most dishonest politician in Ghana , they sometimes justify their hatred for him by passing judgement on his association with none Moslems during his duties as a politician and the vice President . . As Moslems we should be the last people to pass judgement on our brother who is fallible like any other human being.
Instead of praying for him we condemn his association with none Moslems who have voted for his party and Nana Akuffo Addo to give him the present position that he holds. I will not pretend that l also feel too comfortable about how the planners of his events make him actively involved in some activities of non Moslems but l will rather pray for him and give advice to him as to how he should go about some of his duties among non Moslems than to hate him because of this. Interestingly, these Moslem brothers who hate Dr Bawumia for his perceived “SINS” do not hate others for their flirting with young girls and their pretending to like Moslems after denouncing Islam.
I don’t think they need to give any excuse for hating the humble and intelligent Dr because that is their own problem. To pretend that it is his association with non Moslems that they hate him for is the greatest mark of hypocrisy.
In one instance they think the Akans in NPP are using him only to dump him after serving as the vice President and helping to defeat JDM . They also think he is not fit for the presidency but argue that he will not be chosen to be a presidential candidate of the NPP as the NPP hate northerners.
My friends are saying that Dr Bawumia is competent and trustworthy enough to become the next president of Ghana? If that is so l invite them to be the first people, if they are not hypocrites, to lead the campaign to make Dr Bawumia the next president of Ghana. Currently Dr Bawumia is the most eligible Moslem and Norther to become the next president of Ghana so our brothers who hate him for his politics should accept the reality and support him when he decides to via for the position .
I do not want these Moslem brothers from the north to turn round and blame the members of the NPP for not supporting a northerner to become the president because of their hatred for Moslems and northerners . He, Dr Bawumia, will definitely need the support of his own, both Moslems and northerners to win the popular votes to become the next president or a future president .
My love for Dr Bawumia comes from his humble entry into politics and how he has carried himself as a very good Vice President and helped to manage our economy even during this period of covid 19.
We still need him to be in government after the next four years but what will be the best reward for him for serving the NPP faithfully since 2008?
