Teachers Forum Ghana, A New Teacher Union, Newly Trained Teachers Can Rely On Them.

WHY THE FORMATION OF *TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA* AND WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN AS YOUR TEACHER UNION.

1. Upon realising the agony and the current state of teachers in the country due to the unsatisfactory services of the current teacher unions in the country, the vibrant and young teachers coming up will need a more active association to champion their course and interest and not to add themselves up to the politically influenced and self serving unions for them to serve their selfish interests.

2. Teachers should be united all over the country into a single union to gain them strong bargaining power to negotiate with the employer of teachers thus GES, MOE for better conditions of service for teachers to attract more youth and maintain the teachers already in the field, this will make a teacher not to ever regret for choosing Teaching profession. This is a long term goal for TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA to achieve, though that might seem tough but with determination TF-G shall excel.

3. Teachers should have a grassroot Association which will represent the teacher fairly in all situations without being influenced either politically nor any other form of influence, its time to realise the pretence of someone working for you and to look forward for real work and representation. TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA, takes nothing more serious than being the mouthpiece and true representation of all teachers. We can not just accept abnormalities to be normal.

4. Teachers actually need an association/union which will protect and fight for him/her against any form of act or conditions that might infringe on the rights and Freedom of all the teachers. Being a teacher is not a crime and nobody can just impose anything on a teacher to accept without due acknowledgement and acceptance of the teacher. Why won’t the government impose Laptops on Lawyers, Doctors, Police but a teacher? Do teachers not have knowledge and wisdom to acquire any asserts that will make him/her effective in the classroom? Why should somebody sit somewhere and order for something he/she claims will be of benefit for the work he/she knows nothing about? Think about the above questions! In fact, we need a vibrant Association that will stop this nonsense legally, this is what TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA, has emerged to do.

5. Teachers need good conditions of service and attractive incentives as motivation in the teaching fraternity to change the general and public wrong perception about teachers. One might say there is no need for a new Teacher Union but we can not also remain in the mess, there should be a solution to every unfavourable situation and TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA has come to save the situation.

Choose and join TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA (TF-G) as your Teacher Union so that we unite ourselves together, serve ourselves better and never to regret as Teachers.

….Teaching is a noble Profession but directed, managed and influenced by wrong personalities make it a regrettably one.

Very soon Postings will be released for 2020 newly trained teachers, as we are filling our forms at the regionals and districts levels do not forget to make a noble choice by writing .

..TEACHERS FORUM-GHANA, as your Teacher Union. Do this and you will forever be happy for your own decision.
