The moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana(PCG) Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, has called on teachers to accept postings to rural areas.

He continued that, the work of a teacher is resemblant to that of a missionary been sent to sermonize the word of God, and therefore teachers should be glad when they are posted to rural area where education is awfully needed.
He further made clear that, teachers should work as catalyst of good education through accepting their postings since stakeholders of education are working to improve the condition of service for teachers.
The moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana made the call at the 13th Congregation of the Kibi Presbyterian College of Education(KPCE) at Kyebi in the Eastern region of Ghana last Saturday.
“When you are sent to rural areas, please take it as a missionary work and discharge your duties as a servant of God” he entreated graduating teachers.”
