Facts checked by Manuelnewsgh says that a workshop organized by NTC for teachers resulted with them extorting money from the said teachers who were involved. Meanwhile GNAT has issued a statement protesting against such acts over money extortion from Teachers. This what I a teacher who was involved has to say about what happened:
A teacher from Ashanti region, precisely Atwima Mponua district. On 2/11/21 Tuesday. The NTC together with GES organized a by-force workshop which was charge 75ghc by each participant before you could be part of the said workshop. Their reason of such workshop was to increase teachers points and for that matter it is compulsory on every teacher. Just last year, this same NTC took 100ghc from the 2018 batch without a better explanations to that effect, meanwhile this teachers had already paid for their license before written the exams. We are been facing such problems for long time, which need to be solved. and other bodies of your kind. I believed my message will not be left an attended and that I’m ever ready to assist in any investigation.
Thank you, hope to hear from your office soon.
Ibrahim Abdul Rahman Lukman.
