MR BOADI WILLIAM HAS REPLIED TO PROF ADAI. HE DISAGREE WITH PROF ADAI OVER HIS STATEMENT THAT PUBLIC TEACHER ARE CRIMINALS.

PROFESSOR ADDAI IS A FAILURE TO THE STATE

It is very unfortunate that an astute professor of his calibre will come out with such a statement.
Where did Professor Addai Mensah school his children and where are his grandchildren schooling now?
It is a blatant lie to be told by such a lazy professor, who wants to heard all time by making unwarranted statements. I challenge Professor Addai to come out with his finds that shows that the Senior High School graduates who most of them teach in the Private Basic Schools are failures. How can such a person tell the whole world this cock and bull story.
Currently, there about eighty percent (80%), who teach in the Private Basic Schools.
If the public basic schools are not performing, he should blame his own government that has given him an appointment.
What is the rate of supervision in public schools as compared to that of the private schools? What is the rate of academic work comparing both the private and the public schools?
Why didn’t the professor talk about the lack of teaching and learning materials in the public schools while private school owners before the term commences would make them available for their schools.
Currently, most private schools have taken their teachers through series of training as regards to the new curriculum which is going to be rolled out next academic year. Have the public schools even organise one? Instead of supporting the circuit supervisors in doing their work well, government has closed his eyes on this and the children are suffering.
Talking about the class size in the public schools now,a class has an enrollment of about seventy children and over while in the private schools the highest is forty. The question here is, how can a teacher give exercise to these children, mark and discuss their mistakes.
It is about time we put in potent mechanisms to check the falling standard of education in the country rather blaming it on teachers in the private schools.
Some of these SHS graduates are far better even than most degree holders.
