Government Has Released Ghc ¢67m For The Payment Of Colleges Of Education Feeding Fee Base On The Recent Communication From Princof

Government Has Released Ghc ¢67m For The Payment Of Colleges Of Education Feeding Fee Base On The Recent Communication From Princof, Trainees to start feeding themselves starting in the month of May 2022.

Minister Of Education, Dr.Yaw Osei Adutwum disclosed to the general public that, Government of Ghana has released an amount of Ghc 67 million cedis for the payment of feeding components to Colleges Of Education.

As said earlier this particular announcement by the Minister Of Education follows a recent directive from the National Conference Of Principals Of Colleges Of Education directing all teacher trainees to start feeding themselves effective 8th May.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum who is the current minister of Education addressing a press conference held in Accra yesterday on Wednesday, April 20 mentioned that he is well pleased to inform the general public that the government has released ¢67, 942, 652 to Colleges of Education.

These are his words from the press conference ;
“I am very happy to inform you that the the the government has released ¢67, 942, 652 to Colleges of Education. I know you may have read media reports, there were many calls on us to respond to concerns of PRINCOF.

“We want to let the country know that the President of the Republic, the Finance Minister, and all those who have worked hard to ensure various promises made to Colleges of Education are carried through, have delivered on their promise. That is why this amount has been released to Colleges of Education.”
