Blended learning In Colleges Of Education Suspended for 2021/2022 Academic Year

The National Conference of the Principals of Colleges Of Education says the blended Learning in Colleges of Education has been suspended for the 2021/2022 academic year.

According to the new academic calendar for 2021/2022, trainees will be in school for several weeks and breaks for another batch to come without any online Learning for those staying at home.

This decision to abolish blended learning is due to the numerous challenges associated with the introduction of blended learning.

In a similar development, the Minister Of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has directed principals of the various Colleges Of Education to find a lasting solution to blended learning.

It will be recalled that in 2020, Government has rolled out blended learning in Colleges of Education to address infrastructural challenges faced by colleges due to the introduction of the B.Ed program.

Blended Learning System is a style of learning in which students learn via electronic and online media as well as traditional face-to-face teaching.
