Assembly member hopeful ,engage the youth through soccer games .

Assembly member hopeful , Mr . Elvis Agyeman Dua has organized soccer games for youth of Bosome Freho District in Ashanti Region on the theme Recandling Bosome Freho Youth for development.

According to the potential assembly member , bringing the youth together under one umbrella is a stepping stone to massive development in the district . He said, his motive behind the soccer games is to equip the youth with experiences that can help the youth to develop socially, ethical, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies.

According to Mr Elvis Agyeman Duah, we hear the term Youth, the first thing that comes in our mind, is the energetic group of society who always wants positive change in their own family, community, society, state and overall development of country. They are the change agent of society, who has capacity to change the society. Youth are tomorrow’s leaders, parents, professionals, workers and today’s asserts. The youth is known as the backbone of the country. Youth always talks about development of country. They even complain about the pace of country’s development and desire rapid development.

My desire is to make the youth of Bosome Freho active interms of developing the district and organising such games is a means of bringing them together so i can have interactions with them . I started engaging the youth last year December through soccer games and are gradually cooperating with me .

Mr Agyeman bemoans why drug abuse is taken over the youth in the country and calls for drastic measures to ensure that the youth desist from drug abuse which is the main cause of the negative social problems , including rape , robbery etc. We cannot is unconcern since the youth is the future of this country .
