NEWS IN: NTC Releases Date For The Next Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.

(GTLE) REFORM

Advice / Caution

A prospeetive candidate should make payment only when his/her details have been

uploaded onto the indexing portal by their training institutions,

A prospective candidate will not be able to pay for indexing at the bank or via the short

code if he/she does not have his/her details on the indexing portal.

Any person who is not qualified or does not have his/her details on the examination

portal and goes ahead to make any payment will not have a refund of the money.

NTC will not accept any request for change of photograph after the examination.

Review information provided before submitting

Print Summary of the inputs made.

Read the examination regulations and check the box before submission.

Candidates should keep their Pin and Serial Numbers secured after registration for

further use.

Advice / Caution

Candidates are advised not to use one phone number to buy more than one

voucher. Failure to comply may pose a challenge to you during the registration

proces.

Dress code should be fomal or professional.

No baby at the examination hall.

Candidates must complete their online registration not later than 28th September,

2025.

There will be no extension in the time for registration beyond the 28th

September deadline.

NOTICE ON NEW MODALITY AND DATES FOR THE GHANA TEACHER LICENSURE

EXAMINATION (GTLE)

The National Secretariat of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) wishes to inform all Level.

400 students and candidates due for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), as well as resitters,

of the confirmed dates and revised modalities for the conduct of the examination.

Following consultations with the National Teaching Council (NTC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE),

it has been resolved that the GTLE will be conducted under a new mode aimed at enhancing efficiency,

credibility, and alignment with contemporary standards of teacher education.

The schedules are as follows:

Level 400 Teacher Trainees (First-time Candidates): Monday, 13th to Wednesday, 15th

October, 2025

• Resitters: Monday, 27th to Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 (tentative)

Fees:

Examination Fee: GHC 450.00

Indexing Fee: GHC 50.00

The NTC will, in due course, release full guidelines on registration, structure, and procedures. In addition,

NTC shall engage candidates in a series of Zoom meetings organized through the respective TTAG

administrative Sectors to provide direct orientation and clarity on the new arrangements.

All affected candidates are advised to take note of these directives, prepare adequately, and follow official

updates keenly. TTAG remains committed to collaborating with NTC and MoE to safeguard the interests

of all Teacher Trainees nationwide.
