The Difference Between A Real Friend And A Deal Friend
I’ve had my fair share of friends over the years, but not all of them have been genuine. Some have been what I like to call “deal friends” – people who are only around when it’s convenient or beneficial for them. Real friends, on the other hand, are a different story altogether.
A real friend is someone who is there for you through thick and thin. They’re the ones who show up at your doorstep with a listening ear and a helping hand, no matter what’s going on in your life. They don’t just call you when they need something; they check in on you regularly to see how you’re doing. Real friends are invested in your life and care about your well-being.
A deal friend, on the other hand, is someone who is only around when it’s convenient or beneficial for them. They might be great company when things are going well, but when you’re going through a tough time, they’re nowhere to be found. Deal friends often have an ulterior motive for their friendship – they might want something from you, whether it’s a favor, a loan, or a connection.
One key difference between real friends and deal friends is their level of commitment. Real friends are committed to the friendship, even when things get tough. They’re willing to work through conflicts and challenges, and they’re invested in maintaining the relationship. Deal friends, on the other hand, are often fair-weather friends. They’re only around when it’s easy and convenient, but when things get difficult, they’re quick to bail.
Another difference is their level of empathy and understanding. Real friends are able to put themselves in your shoes and understand your perspective. They’re empathetic and supportive, and they’ll do their best to help you through tough times. Deal friends, on the other hand, often lack empathy and understanding. They might be more focused on their own needs and problems, and they might not be willing to listen or offer support.
Having real friends in your life can make all the difference. They’re the ones who will be there for you through thick and thin, offering support, empathy, and understanding. Deal friends, on the other hand, are often just using you for their own benefit. By recognizing the difference between these two types of friends, you can cultivate more meaningful and fulfilling relationships in your life.
Real friends talk sh**t to your face and praise you behind, but deal friends praise you to your face and talk sh**t behind you. Be wise.
